i have just arrived from Hongkong, sooo different from China I know! full of beautiful people and stuff i would never think was for eating, and so fresh but hot.

i still haven't got a visa to go to Germany, it's such a bureaucratic hell i'm passing through right now. my parents have started to blame me because all this trip is getting too expensive. but still i'm looking forward to see the end of this story and finally go to Hildesheim, yo! and work HARD (should pronounce it with a strongly marked O) and do so many interesting things together with the guys from my future university, woo!
here are some reflections about the real Russia trip i made visiting Sasha's grandma, just before leaving to HK.

if someone wanna buy me a good scanner, i will receive this present with pleasure, seriously.
eat tomatoes! kitty cats! summertime is not over!

hey everybody!! so finally we came back, Sasha and i. we spent an amazing time in France, almost two months with no internet or any quotidian connection we all are so used to. we have made two weeks trip on the south of France and then we went hitchhiking to Paris. on our way we met so many nice and kind people, and all of them were so different. there was a herbalist librarian Jean Marie, and champion of one weird computer game like Mario whatever Jaques, and  Thomas from Marseille who's russian was so so good, and chemistry guy Nicolas, and so many many more people. all of them were freaks like us, and it was so nice. if you guys read this, i'm so thankful for this beautiful experience. i have learnt a lot.

probably i have mentioned it somewhere that in particular our objective was to get to a small village in Picardie, in the north of France to do WWOOFing, that is working on organic farm. at the end, the chief of the farm Pierre became our very good friend, and we had some very nice time with him and his friends and family. i felt really absorbed by the atmosphere, it was like being a part of the life there, and not like being "those random guys who came to work". i also met some people who i have some new graphic projects on and in general i was drawing a lot in my notebook. now i just have to scan it all and I will post them here, i think.

My last day in Madrid! Sasha (my boyfriend) and I are leaving to Barcelona in 5 hours. I'm so excited but nervous. It's gonna be an improvised trip, we still don't know all the details, probably we will have to sleep on the seaside in our sleeping bags, and meet some cool or weird people on our way to the organic farm not far from Paris where we will stay for more than a month.
ADVENTURE TIME!
Last picture from Madrid, this portrait was ordered by one telephone company Megafon.

i was frustrated about my colored pencils, because my shitty scanner was sucking so much when i had to scan what i had drawn. so i decided to use a scanner from my university, Epson Perfection V750 Pro. the result is wow, it's just perfect. you can see all the traces and colors are just like in my notebook! suddenly i felt so happy, because i love colored pencils so much and this news mean that i can go on drawing with them.

last two weeks we spent together, my mom and i. she left yesterday morning, and we had such nice days in Leon and then back here in Madrid. i made this painting when she went to Torrevieja for two days. this girl looks pretty much like her, although her hair isn't that long. it's interesting to rediscover oil painting, watch myself establishing a dialogue with it.. for example i had to fill entire surface of the canvas, the thing usually i do not do.

so, i tried oil painting, for the first time in 14 years, i was only 6 when i used it, so i don't remember that much about it. though it was so much fun, and so curious and very different. and now i've got to wait for infinity till it's dry.
